Personalisation & Person Centred Practice

This week we're discussing Personalisation and Person Centred Practice in our online forum. Please post your questions by 5pm on Wednesday 5th March.

The purpose of our forum is to discuss different elements of the Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) reforms and consider how it interacts with the reforms as a whole to create positive outcomes for young people with SEN and disabled young people.

To date we have discussed the Local Offer, Engagement of Young People and Families, and Education, Health and Care Plans. Below you can read our responses to the questions we received in week 1 and 2. We will publish our response to the questions we received in week 3 and 4 shortly.

Future themes

Over the coming weeks we will be exploring other themes of the SEND reforms such as: Joint Commissioning and Multi-Agency Working, developing the range of Post 16 Options, and the interface between the Children and Families Bill and the Care Bill.
