Consultation launched on special educational needs inspection
This week Ofsted and the Quality Care Commission have launched a consultation on special educational needs (SEND) inspections. This will evaluate how local authorities, nurseries, schools, further education establishments and health services work together to support children and young people with special educational needs.
If you have an interest in, or expertise relating to, disability and special educational needs or are a disabled young person you can submit your comments and views up until the 4th January 2016. The new framework is expected to be in place by May 2016.
